I'm a fan of kanan and zeb or sabine as my pilots but none are really useless in this set. It's a must for fan's of the show that also play x wing as it has both ship pilot and crew upgrade cards for all the major spectre's. Additionally the shuttle is fully playable on it's own if you want to bring it along without the points in your list for a vcx/ghost and the vcx/ghost ship is playable all on it's own too (though in that case, i question if an outrider or the mil falc might be better). The shuttle attaches, if you take the free ghost and phantom titles, to enhance the firepower of the main ship, can still detach to fight on it's own as needed, and when all combined it's a hefty chunk of points but a blast to play with some interesting combos. In many ways it's the biggest of the big ships w/o needing to use epic scale play. Quality wise, this is one of their winners. The ghost model itself was also one of the best large ship factory paint jobs i've seen. It's like an inverted tripod where it rests the model and the thing has, so far, sat far superior to my yt's (though the 2400 was pretty good too). I'll start by saying, the base on this thing is one of the best for a large model i've had from the ffg x wing line.
